Laser treatments use focused light energy to target some of the most common skin concerns — sun damage, brown spots, redness, uneven tone, fine lines, and texture — with precision that topical products can't match. Depending on your skin and goals, your provider may recommend intense pulsed light (IPL) to fade pigmentation and redness, or a fractional laser to resurface texture, soften fine lines, and improve acne scarring. The light energy is absorbed by the targeted concern — pigment, vessels, or water in the skin — triggering your body's natural renewal process while leaving the surrounding skin untouched.
Laser treatments are ideal if you're bothered by sun spots or melasma, persistent redness or rosacea, uneven skin tone, rough texture, or fine lines that creams haven't touched. They're a favorite for clients who want real, visible correction without surgery — and because treatments are highly customizable, your provider will match the technology and settings to your skin type, tone, and concerns at your consultation.
Most laser sessions take 30–60 minutes at Beauty and the Med spa. Downtime is typically mild: expect redness like a light sunburn for a day or two, and treated brown spots may darken and flake off over the following week — that's the pigment clearing, and it's completely normal.
